Welcome to the world of the adrenaline racing series "Race the Streets" and immerse yourself in the exciting world of drifting, where brave drivers compete on tracks that completely exhaust their skills and experience.

Race the Streets championship takes you on fascinating tracks that have been designed to expose drivers to extreme challenges, testing the limits of their machines and their own driving skills. From professional high-speed tracks, through winding mountain passes to narrow streets in an urban environment. All this gives each race their dangerous appeal.

International championship

Race the Streets draws drivers from across Europe and beyond. Different drifting schools, different machines, one starting grid. The flags along the barriers change from round to round, but every driver comes for the same thing: to prove they belong among the best on the streets.

The roar of the crowd

Thousands gather at the barriers at every round, close enough to feel the heat of the tyres and taste the smoke. They cheer every entry, hold their breath at every near-miss and turn each battle into a stadium-sized spectacle. Drifting this close is something you have to experience in person.

Not for the weak

This series does not pick the weak ones. It is a test not only of their skills behind the wheel, but also of their courage and nerves of steel. They must perfectly control their car and fight in an uncompromising battle with the competition on tracks that do not forgive any mistakes.

Our story

From the streets to a championship

2019
It all started with a crew
Zapal to! Crew is born. The first car meets, road trips together and small shows right on the city streets. Nobody yet knows where it will lead.
2020
The first official event
Zapal to! Fest brings the first organised car show. Drifting is still just a side act next to the burnout contest. The foundations of a future championship are laid.
2021
The first real race
At the Libros grounds in Ostrava we hold our first standalone drifting competition. For the first time there are scoring zones, an entry list, judges and clear rules.
2022
Drifting takes the streets
For the first time we close a city centre for a drifting competition. Hay bales, makeshift barriers and thousands of spectators create an atmosphere nobody expected.
2023
Race the Streets is born
The races get a new name and an international championship with overall standings is born. The first season links three countries and three tracks: Slovakia Ring, Ustroń and Český Těšín.
2024
Drifting after dark
In Ustroń, Poland, a unique night race takes shape on mountain hairpins. Special effects, an extremely demanding track and free entry make for an unforgettable atmosphere. RTS pushes the limits of drifting.
2025
A new era of racing
Every race is streamed live. Qualifying results and every battle are available online in real time. For the first time we also bring drifting to the iconic industrial Lower Vítkovice area in Ostrava.
2026
The biggest season in our history
Record numbers of drivers and spectators, growing interest from international organisations and major partners. The Ostrava Grand Finale in Lower Vítkovice becomes the most visited drifting event in the Czech Republic.
